I am the Associate Director of the Sonic Arts Center @ City College of New York, an excellent 4-year BFA in Music and Technology. I teach seven courses per year. My production-focused courses including work on synthesis and sound design, signal flow, MIDI, signal-processing techniques, digital audio and sequencing application and techniques, and more.
I am a Certified Apple Trainer for Logic Pro, teaching Apple Pro Training Series instructor-led courses in NYC, Washington, DC, and Boston.
In partnership with composer, arranger, sound-designer and all-around genius and musical guy Steve Horelick, I have formed a training company called Mac Audio Trainers. We are dedicated to providing professional-level training services to the community of Logic Pro Users in the Northeast. We provide Apple Pro Certification courses, and private training.
In June of 2005, I created the New York Logic Pro Users Group, which I now host in conjunction with Mac Audio Trainers. We meet bi-monthly and feature interesting guest speakers, technique-of-the-month presentations, raffles, and the opportunity to meet fellow creative-types. Our web site, www.NYLPUG.com, has details of upcoming meetings and summaries of previous meetings.
Contact us at Mac Audio Trainers for further information about Logic or Soundtrack Pro Certification courses, customized training or private instruction, and check out our website, www.macaudiotrainers.com.
